"There were many different species of Raptors during the Cretaceous. This particular one is a close cousin to Velociraptor, and lived in a forested landscape. Their sickle like claw was a distinguishing feature of the family. They were fully feathered and closely related to birds. 

Although this is painted from a dead specimen I wanted it to have some life in it, hence this could be lying flat or could be a springing attitude."
