Black Parrot are pleased to be working with the following galleries and businesses:

cie-elle - digital imaging

The highest quality Giclee prints are a pillar of Black Parrot editions, so we are committed to using the best technology available. We work with Cie-Elle because they are the only people in Australia with Cruse digital scanner. The German built Cruse scanning system captures artworks at over 400mega-pixels with incredible nuances of colour and tone. Cie-elle also help us out with their 12 colour Canon Lucia ex printer to produce museum grade giclee prints. Check out their website here.

Milk factory gallery - bowral

The Milk Factory Gallery in Bowral is a beautiful space in the heart of Bowral with a wide range of artists showing in their changing gallery spaces. The Milk Factory is a perfect fit for Black Parrot. We have had pieces on display here in previous years. Their website can be found here

the national trust - everglades historic house and garden

The Everglades is one of Australia’s foremost heritage gardens. This treasure from the 1930s sits in twelve and a half acres of European-style gardens and native Australian bush with breathtaking views over the Jamison Valley in the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains. At Black Parrot we are all fans of historic houses and gardens, and the Everglades are one of the best National Trust properties in NSW.

We chose works to sit harmoniously on the walls of the old house. These are available from the gift shop. So if you have a day off, head up to Leura. It’s an easy hour and 20 minutes drive from Sydney.

Jones & Wright

Wondering where Atlas found his lovely collar? Trevor, from Jones & Wright in Berrima, made it out of gorgeous London Tan bridle leather. Trevor also made our spiffy red, vegetable tanned, printers weights which you might see on our consultation table in the Art Room. We are working on making our printers weights available to other architects, framers and conservators, so if you need to weigh down some paper, send us an email!

Any time you are in Berrima pay him a visit at the old Bakery building on the main street. He has beautiful bags, belts, hats and dog essentials.
